5-Year-Old Boy Recites Quran, Adhan at Mahfel TV Show (Video)

IQNA – Recitation of the Quran and Adhan (call to prayer) by a 5-year-old boy at the Mahfel TV show thrilled the audience.

Ali Najafi is from the city of Karaj, 30 km west of the Iranian capital. He recites the Quran in the style of late Egyptian qaris Sheikh Abdul Basit Abdul Samad and Sheikh Mustafa Ismail.

During his recitation, Ali was wearing clothes similar to those Abdul Basit wore.  

Mahfel is a Ramadan-special TV show. Screening the second season of the popular program began on IRIB’s TV 3 channel on the first day of the sacred month of Ramadan on March 12.

It is broadcast just before sunset every day during the holy month, offering a spiritual oasis for viewers as they prepare to break their fast.

With a primary focus on the Quran, the program aims to enrich the brief moments of respite for fasting individuals through insightful discussions and captivating recitations.
